I’ve been following
for some time now and have always been impressed with how fresh her pictures look. When I read on her
that she would be giving a workshop in London, I knew I had to attend.
What I didn’t know though was that I’d have so much fun, meet great people (from 6 countries!) and explore amazing locations.
Or to summarize, as Rosie would say, (please put your hands up in the air) :
YAY
! (you can put your hands down now).
We also had a very cute couple to shoot and a great make-up artist (thanks Taby!). So, when both bride and groom were ready, we went out and started shooting. I must say I was pretty happy to be outside: with 15 people in a 16 sq.m room, it was getting kind of hot in there.
We started shooting by the river, then walked to the Tube, moved to a park, then it was back on the street for a traditional Abbey Road shot, which turned into a rodeo with the cars driving by, and finished the evening by the London Eye.
No need to say time flew.
Tired as I was (far too tired to end up in a pub… and I looooooove pubs so much!), I couldn’t sleep. I kept thinking about how I would edit the photos, build up my portfolio, etc.
On the 2
nd
day, Rosie showed us how she usually edits her pics. We chose a couple of them and just went through the process. We learnt quite a lot about Gimp, how Rosie deals with her images and how fond she is of pigeons!
So, again, thank you Rosie, thank you Riana and Curtis, thank you
and thank you guys for a great time in London.
So Rosie, see you next time in Brussels?
And if you guys ever cross the Channel (or the ocean), let me know, I’d be happy to show you what beer and fries should taste like!
YAY! 🙂
